We believe AI will
reshape how we think.
We are standing at a fork in the road of human evolution. One path leads to dependency. The other leads to a new kind of intelligence.
It started in my sophomore year.
The original public release of ChatGPT coincided with my second year of college.
Right then and there, I saw a shift. Classmates started consulting AI. At first, it was clumsy—hallucinating answers, spitting out nonsense. But it was cool. It was the first time we could have a "conversation" with a computer.
As months turned into years, the capabilities exploded. Now, it can write essays with sources, debug thousands of lines of code, and perform deep research. By my final year, the pattern was set: homework drops, PDF gets uploaded, AI spits out the answer.
"The answers to their homework in literally seconds. Everyone's getting really good grades. But the question is: Are students really learning?"
The Two Directions
We believe humanity will go in one of two directions. There is no in-between.
The Replacement
Humans rely on AI for everything. Our brains are no longer utilized. No more critical thinking.
- ✕Someone has a question? Ask AI.
- ✕Need an opinion? Ask AI.
- ✕Outsourcing every mental step.
The Amplifier
Humans use AI to get even smarter—breaking the boundaries of science and technology to revolutionize how we think.
- ✓AI for familiarization.
- ✓AI for deeper transfer.
- ✓Humans operate at a higher level.
The nightmare scenario of generation "Replacement" is possible.
We are building for the Amplifier.
AI is not the enemy.
Frictionlessness is.
When everything becomes instant, the slow, effortful forms of thinking start to feel obsolete. But they are the only ones that build lasting learning.
"It's not always about getting there first. It's the journey of how you got there."
What is Learning?
It's not just memorization or recall. We see learning as three distinct pillars.
Familiarization
When I drive to work, I don't look at Waze anymore. Repetition carves the route into memory until the unfamiliar becomes second nature. It's when the noise dies down and you can navigate without a map.
Transfer
Studying is pointless if you cannot apply it. The ultimate point of learning is the ability to transfer what you've learned into something completely new.
Confidence
The emotional part of learning. It's not just passing the test—it's the absence of fear. Knowing you put in the work, and trusting your mind to deliver.
Tools define an era.
The spear, the wheel, writing, calculators, the internet—they all reshaped humanity. We believe AI will reshape how we think.
Sagedesk is for those who choose to be amplified.
